Locations We Like: il Peperoncino Rosso

Per questo ponte lungo, ci siamo fatti un giro in Liguria e abbiamo fatto tappa al Peperoncino Rosso. Si tratta di una brasserie piuttosto nota nella zona: piatti squisiti a partire dagli antipasti con formaggi e salumi abbinati a marmellate e mieli, la pizza, le grigliate di pesce e di carne e i dolci per veri intenditori. La carne, tutta di origine piemontese, è ottima (mi scusino i vegans!)…il filetto uno dei migliori assaggiati!

Ma torniamo alla location, che ci è sembrata ad hoc per un matrimonio: già la posizione è top, in quanto il ristorante è collocato su una collinetta e immerso nel verde. Ovunque emerge la cura nei dettagli: dal giardino con radure ordinate agli arredi dove ricorre ovviamente il motivo del peperoncino. All’interno in una sala unica ampi tavoli rotondi e tavolinetti con due tipologie di sedie (e già ci piace), mattoni a vista per la zona brace/pizza e appese alle pareti le opere dell’artista Golinelli (maxi ciliegie, melograni e altre verdure) che danno personalità alla sala.

Se passate in zona con mariti, fidanzati o amici del cuore ; ) , fermatevi senza indugi: la cenetta romantica è assicurata!

Last weekend, we took a tour around in Liguria and we stopped at Peperoncino Rosso. It’s a well-known brasserie: delicious dishes from the appetizers, cheese and cold cuts matched with jams and honey, the pizza, the grilled fish and meat and the very special desserts. The very-good meat is produced in Piemonte (sorry for the Vegans!) and the fillet is one of the best ever tasted!

But now focus on the location, perfect for a wedding: the position is pretty-good, on a hill and dipped in nature. Everywhere the attention is on details: from the tidy garden to the furniture with the hot pepper pattern. Inside the restaurant, a big hall with round tables and two different types of chairs (we like it!), a stone wall in the oven zone and the Golinelli artist works of art (maxi cherries, pomegranates and other vegetables) hung on the walls to give personality to the space.

If you are in zone with husbands, boyfriends or bosom buddies ; ), stop there: it’s sure you’ll have a romantic dinner!
