La Fashion Week milanese riserva molte sorprese e una di queste riguarda lo showroom di Antonio Marras: “Nonostante Marras” (via Cola di Rienzo 8) è uno spazio ricavato da un’officina smantellata e trasformato in un affascinante concept store con biblioteca, caffè e boutique nel cuore di zona Tortona.

Milan’s Fashion Week makes amazing surprises: one of these was Antonio Marras Showroom called “Nonostante Marras”. It’s a space obtained by a machine shop and transformed in a fascinating concept store with library, coffee bar and boutique into the heart of zona Tortona in Milan.

Lo spirito è decisamente retrò nella scelta di arredi ed oggetti: abat-jour, porcellane, poltroncine e divanetti, un separé ricavato da porte scrostate, valigie e gabbiette e soprattutto al centro un’imponente libreria circolare. Tutto contribuisce a rendere l’ambiente accogliente a tal punto che vien voglia di prendersi un libro e accomodarsi sul divano magari con una bella tazza di tè.

Furniture and objects have been chosen with an old-fashioned spirit: abat-jour, porcelains, armchairs and sofas, a separé obtained by old doors, luggages and birdcages and overall a huge round bookcase. The atmosphere of the environment is welcoming and you seriously think about take a book and sit down on a sofa with a cup of tea.

Nessun elemento è posizionato casualmente e si integra alla perfezione con l’ambiente circostante e nulla porta via la ribalta alle collezioni, che restano il fiore all’occhiello. Questo grazie alle creazioni dello stilista sardo che meriterebbero un capitolo a parte: qui ci limitiamo ad ammirare la commistione di tessuti e stoffe, la brillantezza di stampe e colori e i dettagli preziosi di abiti, cappotti, calzature e pochette…

Nothing is placed in a random way and elements are perfectly integrated with the environment and giving the right importance to the collections, the real flagship. Creations of Italian designer Marras would deserve a special chapter: but we only stop to admire the fabrics mix, the prints and colors brightness and the precious details of dresses, coats, shoes and clutches…

Infine, anche la collezione “I’m Isola Marras” SS 2013 non poteva deludere: ispirati alle atmosfere di Bahia, t-shirt, blazer e abiti mescolano stili e tessuti dai colori smaglianti. Un 10+++ alle acconciature da pin-up anni Cinquanta e agli occhialetti rotondi ; )

In the end, the SS 2013 I’m Isola Marras collection coulnd’t disappoint: inspired by the atmospheres of Bahia, the t-shirts, blazers and dresses blend styles and fabrics with bright colors. We give a 10+++ to the Fifties pin-up hairstyles and to the round sunglasses. Very cool!!! ; )
