The blog seems apparently dead on my website, but the truth is that I’m working on new special contents to show you soon.
So I’m breaking the ice with this stunning wedding full of colors, happiness and of course LOVE. I fell in love with Tania and Halajie smiling faces when I first met them. Do you remember them?Long time ago yes, but they were the protagonist of a “fake” engagement shoot (here). The theme was “The Great Gatsby” but at that moment, nobody knows it…then Di Caprio refreshed the memory with the wonderful film everybody knows.
Well this is their REAL wedding. They’d like a party, colored, full of rustic and funny stuff, that represent them in all the details, from the flowers to the menus, from the lighting to the music. And trust me, THAT was a real party, people danced all night and the atmosphere was special.
The color palette was coral + peach + soft green + white and a touch of gold (at the beginning we’d like to use glitter wherever but the groom opposed so just a little bit of gold ; )
The venue they chose was a rustic-chic villa surrounded by hills, close to the sea and with a panoramic view, in Emilia Romagna, a region in the middle of Italy.
We’d like to give the feeling of a party from the first moment people arrived: gadgets like sunglasses and mini personalized matchsticks were distributed, giant balloons were placed on the grass, a big “thanks” with glitter gold letters and friends pics, a handmade wooden signals, a Photo Booth corner on a “Apecar” vintage motorcycle were all there. Lights were hung up and after the sunset they created the perfect atmosphere to introduce the party.
After the starters outside with a stunning view on the hills and the sunset, 3 courses dinner were served into the main room; tables had centerpieces created with a bark base, mercury glasses and transparent bottles with colored flowers.
Graphic design by Mondo Mombo was something lovely: from the wooden signals to the menu on rice paper till the seating chart on the net and Table numbers written by hand on green wine bottles.
I stop chatting and I leave you to this stylish and charming couple. Enjoy!
